Extra line for security examinations

Security examinations on the border control at Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport were frequently the cause of impatience among passengers. We now opened extra line for security checkups. It is meant to ensure higher passenger flow on the border and reduce throng. We expect it to be particularly beneficial in the morning peak hours and during Slovenian EU Presidency. Security examinations will be performed with three X-ray machines and two metal detector doors.

All passengers are advised to attend security checkup as soon as possible, so all the necessary formalities are arranged without stress. Please note that passengers are only allowed to take small quantities of liquids in their hand luggage. These liquids must be individual containers with a maximum capacity of 100 milliliters each.   They must also be packed in transparent, re-sealable plastic bags of not more than one liter capacity per passenger. Please also note that sharp and pointy objects are prohibited and all metal objects and electronic devices must be examined separately. More information on the standard hand baggage allowance on flights is available on our website.
