Austrian Airlines again on the Ljubljana - Vienna route
On Sunday, 28 March, 2004 Austrian Airlines reconnected the
capitals of Slovenia and Austria. The aircraft Dash 8 flies to
Vienna every day at 8.30 a.m.
On Sunday, 28 March, Austrian Airlines again started flying from
Ljubljana airport. After running a successful daily route
Vienna-Ljubljana-Vienna, in autumn 2001 Austrian Airlines
temporarily discontinued it and instead operated the route to
Vienna jointly with the Slovene carrier Adria Airways.
The route was reintroduced due to market demand. Passengers can now
choose to fly from Brnik to Vienna with either the Austrian or
Slovene carrier. Austrian Airlines' aircraft Dash 8 -300 Q leaves
for Vienna every day at 8.30 a.m. This route offers a wide range of
connecting flights from Vienna, which Austrian Airlines uses as a
home base and it's hub.
