Airport with a new online image

The new online image of Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport has come alive. Through its technically and visually improved website Aerodrom Ljubljana intends to meet the demands of modern Internet users, in particular passengers and airport visitors who want quick and ubiquitous access to information. The main innovation offered by the new website is a modern and transparent visual image, which adapts to different screen sizes and types of digital media. Smart phone users can also access the most important airport information by means of mobile applications.

Automatic adjustment to different screens and types of digital media

With an ear for new mobile technologies, which are quickly taking the lead in terms of Internet use, especially in the target audience of business and tourist travellers, Aerodrom Ljubljana wanted to bring the new website closer to the widest possible range of users. The essence of the website is in its response form, as it automatically adjusts to different screen characteristics - resolution and behaviour (e.g. touch screens).

An extremely transparent and modern image for quick access to information

In designing its new website, Aerodrom Ljubljana focused on the needs of the most loyal online users - passengers and visitors at Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport. That is why content representing important information for route planning and spending time at the airport is of prime importance. Such content features highly transparent and modern visual image. Users can now easily calculate and check the best price of parking at the airport on their PC or mobile phone, and when checking in online they can choose the option of sending their boarding pass to their mobile phones, while the most demanding users can also access essential airport information in a mobile application available for telephones running on the iOS, Android and Windows Phone operating systems.

Relation to the social web and the revamped e-newsletter

Some of the website content is also directly related to the social web, which enables users to share interesting information quickly. The e-newsletter, through which Aerodrom Ljubljana informs subscribers about the latest offers of airport services, special offers and other attractions, has also been given a face-lift. Popular interactive elements such as the virtual airport, web cams and the application for monitoring noise in the vicinity of the airport have been preserved on the airport’s refurbished website.

Visitors to Ljubljana Airport are kindly invited to discover its revamped website.
