Third member appointed to the Management Board of Aerodrom Ljubljana

At today's second meeting, the Supervisory Board adopted a decision on the appointment of a third member of the Management Board of Aerodrom Ljubljana d.d., in accordance with Article 28 of the company's Articles of Association. Management Board chairman Zmago Skobir and Management Board member Bernarda Trebušak will be joined by new Management Board member Dr Iztok Podbregar, who has been appointed for a five-year term of office commencing on 1 August 2013.

"The Supervisory Board was of the opinion that it is necessary to strengthen the current Management Board, above all in view of the planned change of ownership and the investment in the new passenger terminal", explained Supervisory Board chairman Milan Perović after the meeting. "Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport, which is managed by Aerodrom Ljubljana, is an extremely important part of critical infrastructure, and the two factors mentioned – the sale of the State's share in the company and the possible investment in airport infrastructure – require additional know-how in the management of the company and involve an additional workload which a three-member Management Board will be able to cope with more easily."

Dr Iztok Podbregar, born on 14 August 1962 in Celje and resident in Hrašče, near Postojna, is experienced in the fields of aviation and security and in the management of critical infrastructure. He is a full professor at the University of Maribor and holds a doctorate in organisational science and management. He has considerable experience in strategic and crisis management, negotiation methods and techniques, human resources management and security.

The Supervisory Board also voted in favour of the Management Board's decision to call a General Meeting, expected to take place on 30 August 2013, at which shareholders will vote on the investment in the new passenger terminal.
