Exhibition of dream images by painter Nataša Menart

The passenger terminal at Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport is hosting an exhibition of works by the Slovenian painter Nataša Menart. The protagonists, who live on the canvas without touching anything real, address the passengers and visitors – free and belonging to another world and another time. They live their own stories, dancing on the canvas and looking deep into the viewers’ eyes.

Nataša Menart learnt the art of painting and its techniques in the studio of the well-known Slovenian painter, Professor Savo Sovre. She is a surrealist painter and has held many exhibitions in Slovenia and abroad. For Nataša painting is love, to which she belongs and with which she can express her feelings, thereby communicating with the world around her. She uses painting as a means of escape from this crazy world and as a way to create it anew. She lives and works in Ljubljana.
