Finnair launches direct flights to Ljubljana in April 2007
Finnair is to be the first airline to launch direct
flights between Finland and Slovenias capital of Ljubljana.
The route, to be flown with Embraer 170 aircraft, will be opened in April 2007. Flights will be operated four times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Finnair is focused on expanding its European network.
"We have added frequencies to many of our European destinations and only this year we have already launched five new scheduled services in Europe, with more growth on the way. The timetables of the Ljubljana flights support Finnairs Asian strategy and offer excellent return connections via Helsinki to Asia," explains Finnair SVP, Commercial Division, Mika Perho.
