First Choice Launched New Direct Charter Flights to Slovenia for Winter 2006

Slovenia  was new to the First Choice Snowsports programme in Winter 2005/06, introducing flights to Kranjska Gora. This year, First Choice Holidays was delighted to announce the launch of the first  ever  UK  charter  flight  to Ljubljana for the Winter 2006/2007 ski season.

Photo: Pavel BarabasFirst  Choice  Airways  will  operate  an  Airbus A320 aircraft weekly from London Gatwick, departing at 0655 and arriving into Ljubljana at 1000 local time  every  Saturday.  The return flight will depart Ljubljana at 1110 and will  return  to London Gatwick at 1220 from the 23rd December 2006 to 24th March 2007.

First  Choice  continues  to  invest  in  Slovenian  ski  resorts, with the introduction  of  the  charter  with 150 seats and a brand new First Choice operated  Kids  Club at the Hotel Alpina in Kranjska Gora.  The Kids Club is  a brand new offering in Slovenia which includes an evening crčche, half or full day childcare programmes with qualified and experienced nannies.

A  special  Slovenian  package  including tuition and a daily escort to the slopes has also been developed for First Choice, working with the local Ski Schools.   The  fantastic  Learn  to package is available in Slovenia for complete  beginners,  as  well  as Experts being able to try out the famous World Cup run!

This  season  First  Choice  will  have  seven staff based in the resort of Kranjska Gora, under the management of Simon Sharpe, Area Manager Italy and Slovenia,  and  Petra  Krzan, Resort Supervisor for Slovenia.  First Choice expects to bring over 2000 customers to Slovenia this winter.
