»It is an honour and a big pleasure to welcome a new carieer. The connection of Luxair to Luxembourg is joining the network of Ljubljana Airport for the first time in its history. We are convinced this route to be successful and will serve business passengers and those travelling for private purposes well. We expect to handle around 12,000 passengers annually on this connection and wish that, along with its success, the number of weekly frequencies will also be strengthened in the future.  Luxair is already the 19th regular carrier in the   flight network of Ljubljana Airport, which from today offers 22 direct connections. By the end of September we are expecting a new connection to Skopje, and in May 2024 a new connection to Riga. Also with the help of Luxair we are expecting more than 1.2 million passengers this year, which will be 25 % more than in 2022. Just today we welcomed the 900,000th passenger,"  said Janez Krašnja, Head of Airline Management at Fraport Slovenija with the establishment of the new connection.
