easyJet announces new direct connection from Ljubljana Airport to Edinburgh

Next spring, Ljubljana Airport will expand its low-cost flight network with an exciting new destination – Edinburgh. EasyJet will introduce this route to the Scottish capital alongside its existing services to London Gatwick and Manchester.

Edinburgh, Scotland’s enchanting capital, captivates visitors with its blend of historic charm, vibrant arts, and lively modern atmosphere. Just beyond the city lie rolling green landscapes dotted with serene lakes and impressive castles. With its stunning scenery, rich culture, and friendly locals, Scotland leaves a lasting impression on everyone who visits. The new easyJet route will give Slovenian travelers convenient direct access to experience all this for themselves.

Flights will operate every  Wednesday  and  Saturday  from  April 4th 2026  using a 186-seat Airbus A320 aircraft. Tickets are already available at  www.easyjet.com  with one-way fares starting from 35.49 euros.

EasyJet has been present at Ljubljana Airport for more than 20 years. It entered the Slovenian market in April 2004 with flights to London.

In September, Ljubljana Airport handled over 176,000 passengers, marking a  13% rise  compared to the same month in 2024. During the first nine months of this year, passenger traffic increased by 8.6% year-on-year, reaching  more than 1.23 million travelers.
