easyJet launches new route from Ljubljana to Manchester

easyJet has expanded its flight offering from Ljubljana Airport to the United Kingdom with the introduction of a new route to Manchester, complementing its existing service to London Gatwick. The first flight on this new connection was officially welcomed today at Ljubljana Airport, where the crew and passengers were greeted with a special ceremony.

The new regular service will provide Slovenian travellers with direct access to northern England, one of the UK’s most dynamic and culturally vibrant regions. Manchester is known for its rich industrial heritage, world-famous football clubs – including Manchester United, for which Slovenian football star Benjamin Šeško plays – and its lively cultural and music scene. The city is also a major business and educational centre, home to numerous universities and technology companies.

Flights will operate every Tuesday and Saturday using an Airbus A320 aircraft with 186 seats. Tickets are already available at www.easyjet.com, with one-way fares starting from €29.49.

easyJet, one of Europe’s most popular low-cost airlines, has been operating at Ljubljana Airport since 2004, when it first introduced flights to London. Manchester serves as one of easyJet’s major bases, offering connections to more than 80 destinations across Europe, including major cities and popular Mediterranean holiday spots. In addition to the new Manchester service, easyJet has also announced a  new route connecting Ljubljana and Edinburgh, set to launch in the upcoming spring season.
