In this year's summer schedule, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has strengthened the connection between Ljubljana Airport and Amsterdam Schiphol Airport with an additional morning flight. In addition to the existing departure from Ljubljana at 12:35 PM, a daily morning flight is now available at 6:00 AM, allowing passengers to arrive at Amsterdam Airport just before 8:00 AM.
The return connection from Amsterdam to Ljubljana, currently available daily at 10:15 AM, has been supplemented with an evening flight at 9:00 PM. The carrier will use Embraer E175 and Embraer 190 aircraft on the route, which can accommodate 88 and 100 passengers, respectively.
The connection between Ljubljana and Amsterdam has proven to be very popular in its first year – more than 61,000 passengers have traveled on KLM Royal Dutch Airlines flights during this period.
On this occasion, the carrier also launched a new website for the Slovenian market
»With a morning departure and an evening return, passengers will have even better access to over 160 destinations in the KLM network, easier planning for business trips, and more options for comfortable, efficient travel. Alongside the existing Air France connections from Ljubljana to Paris, travellers now benefit from an even broader, more flexible offer within the Air France-KLM Group. This expanded schedule makes it easier than ever for Slovenian passengers to reach major cities across Europe and the world,« commented Razvan Radut, Country Sales Manager Air France and KLM.
»The introduction of an additional morning flight by KLM further enhances the quality of the connection between Ljubljana and Amsterdam Schiphol. Early departures are particularly important for business travellers and improve access to onward connections. Via Amsterdam, passengers benefit from KLM’s network of more than 150 destinations, complemented by over 500 destinations worldwide within the SkyTeam network. This development highlights the strength of our partnership with KLM and underlines the role of Amsterdam as a key SkyTeam hub, complementing Ljubljana Airport’s connectivity to other major European hub airports. We would like to thank Air France and KLM for its continued commitment to the Slovenian market,« emphasized Jürgen Deischl, Managing Director of Fraport Slovenija.
In celebration of the first anniversary of the connection between Ljubljana and Amsterdam and the introduction of the new morning flight, passengers on the first departure were delighted with freshly prepared coffee featuring the carrier's logo.
