LOT Polish Airlines increasing the number of flights to Ljubljana

Zg. Brnik, 19 June 2026 - LOT Polish Airlines will increase the number of flights between Warsaw and Ljubljana. Between September and the end of October, the airline will operate additional services on this route, increasing frequencies from 9 to 11 flights per week. This year also marks the 10th anniversary of the connection.

In response to seasonal demand for travel, LOT Polish Airlines will add extra flights on the Warsaw to Ljubljana route. The airline currently operates up to 9 weekly flights from Warsaw Chopin Airport to Ljubljana Airport. From September, this will increase to 11 weekly frequencies, with additional services on Wednesdays and Fridays in the evening. Return flights to Warsaw will operate on Thursdays and Saturdays in the morning. The additional operations will be operated under flight numbers LO621 and LO622.

“At Fraport Slovenija, we welcome the increase in frequencies on the Warsaw–Ljubljana route, as it provides our passengers with greater flexibility and more travel options. Over the past decade, this connection has evolved beyond a link between two capitals, offering access to a broad network via LOT’s hub in Warsaw. We are confident that the additional frequencies will be supported by strong demand, clearly demonstrating the market potential and paving the way for their long-term continuation. This will further strengthen the route and enhance connectivity to long-haul destinations via Warsaw. Together with LOT, we have built a strong partnership that continues to enhance Slovenia’s international accessibility,” stated Jürgen Deischl, CEO and Managing Director of Fraport Slovenija.

“The Warsaw–Ljubljana route is one of LOT’s key connections in Southern Europe. Thanks to a convenient flight schedule, passengers from Slovenia can take advantage of both direct flights and onward connections via Warsaw. The route provides access to LOT’s extensive network via the Warsaw hub, covering destinations located across Europe, North America, and Asia,” said LOT Polish Airlines in connection with the increased frequencies.
